- His hands are folded in his lap right over left in the Dhyana Mudra, a hand gesture that embodies the mind to go deep into meditation and to reflect and contemplate
- According to tradition, this mudra is the one assumed by the Buddha when meditating under the pipal tree before his Enlightenment
- He is wearing lapis lazuli colored robes, symbolizing meditation & healing, with his chest slightly exposed
